We like to be transparent so here is a summary of our current prices

We try to be transparent and realistic about our costs, offering either a fixed price or an initial estimate paid by standing order. We aim to offer excellent value, with predictable payments wherever possible. We will always be glad to show you how you could save money.

Tax returns are charged on a fixed-price basis in order to give you peace of mind. There is an initial registration fee that covers the cost of an initial meeting where we will explain the relevant tax rules and deadlines as well as advise you on ways to minimize your tax liability. Our clients regularly tell us how valuable they find this initial meeting and wonder why they have not had these things explained to them before. We will also include a pack for keeping your tax and accounting records and, if appropriate, a spreadsheet for keeping simple accounts.

The cost of the tax return preparation and submission depends on the number of schedules needed on your tax return and whether or not you will require any additional accounts. Please don’t hesitate to ask us for more details. Please note that there is a surcharge for information that is sent in close to the tax return deadline but we will give you plenty of reminders not to leave it to the last minute.

Bookkeeping and VAT returns are usually charged by the hour, according to the experience of the person doing the bookkeeping. The more organised the records, the cheaper it is likely to be and we will gladly advise you how to reduce your costs. We can also set up a custom computerised accounting systems and train your staff to use it.

Company accounts will depend on the complexity of the accounts. Any bookkeeping work necessary to produce a trial balance will be costed separately. We can give you an estimate of costs in advance for this and other services. However, you should be aware that in the first year of trading it is not possible to offer a precise estimate.

Payroll costs are fixed for the set-up of each new staff member and per payslip. For business with larger payrolls we operate a sliding scale of charges for producing payslips.

Other tax and accounting advice and services will be charged at the hourly rate of the staff member suitably experienced and qualified to deal with the work. We will be very glad to discuss your requirements and offer a quote.

Please note that the above prices are after discount for payment within 30 days, and VAT at 15% should be added. You can also look at our standard terms and conditions here.
