Starting a successful business isn’t easy or everyone would be doing it. And as the majority of new businesses fail in the first five years, that clearly isn’t the case! You need a product or skill to offer and you need to be able to sell what you have. Some people have the skill but not the marketing ability, or maybe organisational skill is the missing piece.
But perhaps the least valued ability in order to make sure you are starting a successful business is that of being completely committed to making it work. Let me share a brilliant LinkedIn article, How to stop being a ‘wantrapreneur’, by Praveen Suthrum, President and Co-founder, NextServices.
All I can say is that I wish I had written it myself and you should read it if you are about to start a business or have just begun.
