HMRC have just launched a new service providing tax and business help by support emails on different topics. Signing up is easy through the HMRC website. The subjects covered are self-employment, VAT, employing staff, being a director, CIS for contractors and subcontractors, online trading and trading overseas. The service provides basic advice and is geared to those new to the subjects concerned but it’s free so worth trying out, particularly if your business is new.
